The Research Associate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of data in research projects:

  • Data Acquisition and Management: Actively identify, extract, and collate data from diverse internal and external sources. This includes utilizing automated methods like web scraping (e.g., using Python libraries) as well as manual data gathering techniques.
  • Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Rigorously clean, transform, and prepare large, complex, and potentially messy datasets, ensuring data quality and readiness for sophisticated analysis.
  • Analytical Modeling: Design, develop, and implement advanced quantitative models. This includes applying sophisticated econometrics (e.g., panel data, time-series, causal inference) and various machine learning techniques.
  • Coding and Execution: Write efficient, well-documented, and scalable code, primarily in Python, for statistical analysis and model implementation.
  • Research Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear, comprehensive records of methodologies and findings. Contribute to the drafting of research papers, reports, and professional presentations.

Technical Expertise (Non-Negotiable)

  • Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated expert proficiency in Python, including core data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Econometrics/Machine Learning: Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience with empirical econometric methods. Hands-on experience applying ML techniques (e.g., supervised, unsupervised learning) to real-world research problems.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of quantitative and statistical methods relevant to complex data analysis.

  • Salary Range: The expected salary is competitive as per industry standards and will be between โ‚น 50,000 and โ‚น 70,000 (per month), depending on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and performance in the interview process.
